November 20 is the 18th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It has also been declared as the Universal Children’s Day.

The National Coalition Against Child Labor in Commercial Agriculture, where KDF serves as Secretariat, will be having a Universal Children’s Day Parade on Tuesday, November 20, 2007.

The Parade will start at 7:30 am at the Occupational Health and Safety Center, move along Agham Rd, Quezon Avenue and end up at the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC). A program will follow at the Peace Bell Area of QMC.

Blogging Training

I’m more of a reader than a writer. It’s the same with blogging. However, as a result of this workshop, I’ve realized the use of blogging as a strategy in promoting the NGO I work for.

I work for Kamalayan Development Foundation, Inc., a grassroots non-government organization seeking the eradication of child labor and protection and promotion of children’s rights.
